Error: The grammar checker is in use. (due to other grammar version running).
Error:
The grammar checker is in use.
Cause:
Message occurs if there is another version of Word running grammar and an attempt is made to run 7.0. Also, if grammar was running when an unrecoverable application error (UAE) or general protection (GP) happened, the error message will appear.
Solution:
Close the other version of Word and re-run Grammar.
1) Close any earlier version of Word.
2) Return to the current document.
3) In the error message dialog box, click 'OK'.
4) Select the text to be checked.
5) Select the 'Tools' menu and select 'Grammar...'.
6) Run Grammar as usual.
